Lots of us have smaller kitchens that can make it difficult to prepare meals easily, but with amazing small kitchen design ideas, you can make the space seem larger and be more functional. The important thing is to embrace new kitchen ideas so that you can maximize your space and use it according to your needs.
To make the space seem larger, choose cabinets that stand on legs, so that they do create obstacles. This is a trick used by my interior designer, that really made a difference. The cabinets could go up to the ceiling to take advantage of every square inch available for added storage, or open shelving could be used instead, which would leave more wall space and help the room to look bigger. Then, choose your color palette, keeping it as neutral as possible. This worked great in my kitchen, keeping the eyes moving, without any stops. Then, choose a backsplash that has a simple pattern, continuing with the neutral palette. For additional small kitchen upgrade ideas, please click here.
